A leading distributor of heating products and spares is looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Account Manager professional to join their growing team in Wolverhampton. With a strong focus on developing commercial business opportunities, this role offers the chance to work with facilities management companies, contractors and key commercial customers, while also managing and developing high-value key accounts.

Role Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
  • Internal Sales: Manage inbound enquiries, quotations, order processing and customer follow-ups.
  • Business Development: Proactively identify and develop new commercial business opportunities, particularly within facilities management and contractor markets.
  • Customer Service: Deliver a consistently high level of service across phone and email communication.
  • Product Support: Advise customers on heating parts and product solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and suppliers to ensure excellent customer outcomes and smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience within the heating, plumbing or related industry would be ideal
  • Internal sales, account management, trade counter or customer-facing sales experience
  • Ideally a commercial background or experience dealing with contractors, facilities management companies or commercial customers
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • A proactive and commercially minded approach
