The Role
- You will be responsible for delivering plant equipment, on a low loader to building sites across the UK.
- Must be confident in loading and unloading and securing plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- 2-5 deliveries/collections per day nationwide.
- Loading and unloading of plant equipment.
- Start times between 04:00-06:00, Monday to Friday.
- X1 night out per week.
- Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Adhering to all health and safety standards, The Highway Code, and vehicle regulations.
- Completing regular vehicle checks.
- Keeping vehicles in clean condition.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
- Driver CPC Qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Low loader experience (preferred).
- Experience using straps/chains to secure loads (advantageous).
Pay & Benefits
- £18.00 per hour.
- £27.00 per hour after 8 hours worked per day.
- 28 days paid holiday (accrued).
- Weekly pay.
- Long-term opportunities possibility of permanent for right candidate.
