An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 12‑month fixed‑term contract Sexual Health Nurse to cover maternity leave within the axess Warrington & Halton Sexual Health service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care and manage all areas within the department with professionalism and clinical expertise.
- Conduct consultations for contraception and STI screening.
- Dispense contraceptive and STI treatments from a PGD.
- Provide STI management, health advising and results management.
- Insert LARC methods, including sub‑dermal implants.
- Travel to all axess Warrington & Halton sites (Runcorn, Widnes, Warrington, Orford) on a rotational basis.
- Support the seamless day‑to‑day management of the integrated sexual health service.
- Work evenings and Saturdays as required.
Contract Details:
- 12‑month fixed‑term contract, Band 6.
