Brightwork's client is currently recruiting an Implementation and Site Support Manager who will be responsible for supporting the management team for existing customers, leading the operations function at the local level, with full accountability of running the day-to-day operations during implementations. This position monitors and backfills as needed procurement, warehouse, administrative, customer service and sales activities.

Role/Responsibilities

  • Complying with Health & Safety.
  • Reporting directly to the Director of Operations for Europe with a matrix reporting line to the Director of Implementations Europe.
  • Adherence to strict deadlines, providing timely, accurate information.
  • Responsible for establishing tracking and reporting contractual KPIs.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with existing site teams to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction while ensuring customer compliance with contracts.
  • Must be able to quickly assess and form a plan for optimizing temporary operations for a variety of customers.
  • Oversees execution of high-quality products, services, and processes.
  • Monitors quality metrics, identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Appropriately escalates issues timely; collaborates with staff and leadership to ensure success of all objectives.
  • Best practice, capture and sharing across sites and or implementations.
  • Existing Site operation auditing to evaluate compliance to best practice.
  • Developing on an ongoing basis the business operational procedures to implement best practice as it develops.

Candidate Profile & Experience

  • The ideal candidate will have procurement, stores operations and spare parts (MRO) knowledge.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Strong IT skills are a must (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Smartsheet).
  • The ideal candidate will be flexible and available for short term secondment to customer sites within the United Kingdom and mainland Europe when operational effectiveness requires on site presence.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, wholesale distribution, industrial distribution, manufacturing, or a similarly applicable industry (indirect materials a plus).
  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly adaptable to new environments.
  • Demonstrated consultative skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills with professional presence to deliver materials to an executive audience (internally and/or externally).
  • Previous experience with MRO spare parts.
  • Previous Aerospace, Pharma & GMP experience an advantage.
  • Experience using CMMS systems.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask, work to deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Flexible approach to all areas of the role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience of using Smartsheet (Not essential).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full UK / European Driving Licence.
  • Fluency in English Language.
  • A second European language would be an advantage.

Please note that due to the nature of this role there will be travel to different sites in the UK and mainland Europe. 80% travel. Working hours 08:00-17:00 Monday-Thursday). Friday 16:00.
