We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader you will be responsible for processing goods from delivery to despatch in a safe, accurate, timely and efficient manner to satisfy all stakeholders. You will be IT literate and ideally will have experience working with SAP in a warehousing environment and have an MHE licence.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurately all material processing tasks including receipt of material, put away, perpetual inventory checking, picking, packing and despatch.
  • Responsible for checking of goods received, ensuring any defects in quality / quantity are managed appropriately.
  • Transact all warehouse activities in MRP system (SAP) for movement in and out of stores and final despatch.
  • Undertake stock checks in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Participate in daily comm. cell meetings and work within a small team to achieve warehouse targets (cost, quality and delivery).
  • Work in a safe manner, taking reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other people at work, following appropriate Health and Safety guidance, training and company rules and procedures as appropriate.
  • Undertake forklift truck driving and safety checks.
  • Ensure delivery drivers are met on arrival, are made aware of site access and safety issues during loading and unloading of vehicles.

Qualifications:

  • IT literate.
  • Experienced working with SAP transactions in a warehouse environment.
  • Relevant MHE license(s) holder including Fork lift and reach truck.
  • Previously worked within a warehouse environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of numeracy.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines in a fast paced environment.
