The Best Connection have exciting new opportunities available in Warrington! Due to increased demand, our client is seeking reliable Warehouse Operatives to support the smooth day-to-day running of their warehouse operations. This role involves accurately handling goods to ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing and dispatching goods accurately and efficiently
- Receiving deliveries and checking stock against delivery notes
- Loading and unloading vehicles (manual handling and/or equipment)
- Carrying out regular stock checks and assisting with stock takes
- Labelling and storing goods in correct warehouse locations
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation
- Reporting any stock discrepancies, damages or safety concerns
- Following all health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or manual handling experience preferred
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and flexible
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- FLT licence (counterbalance/reach) and WMS experience advantageous but not essential
Working hours are Monday to Friday 06:00-14:30 (30-minute unpaid break). Flexibility may be required to cover holidays or absences. An immediate start is available following a successful interview, and this position could lead to permanent employment after a successful qualifying period.
