This is a hands‑on job where you’ll learn how a warehouse really operates – from picking and packing orders to managing stock and dispatching goods. SCAME is based in Tewkesbury Business Park (GL20 8GB), so being able to travel to site is essential.

What you'll do:

  • Pick and pack orders accurately, ready for dispatch
  • Prepare and organise outgoing deliveries
  • Receive goods into the warehouse and book them in
  • Help manage stock, ensuring items are stored correctly and easy to locate
  • Keep the warehouse clean, safe and well organised
  • Work closely with the team to keep operations running smoothly
  • Learn how to operate a forklift truck (full training provided)
  • Build confidence using basic warehouse systems and processes

This is a varied role where you’ll learn all aspects of warehouse operations, giving you a strong foundation for future progression.

Training and Support:

This apprenticeship offers the chance to earn while you learn, gaining real experience in a fast‑paced warehouse environment. You’ll study towards a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative apprenticeship, developing skills in:

  • Health and safety in a warehouse environment

You’ll also have the opportunity to gain your forklift truck licence, a valuable qualification that can open doors across the logistics and manufacturing sector.
