We are currently recruiting for an experienced UPVC Window Fabricator to join a busy, well-established UPVC window and door manufacturing business based in Aldridge, Walsall. The Role

As a UPVC Window Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating plastic frames used to manufacture UPVC windows and doors. You will work within a high-volume production environment, ensuring all products are manufactured accurately and meet strict quality standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fabricating UPVC plastic frames to manufacture windows and doors
  • Cutting, measuring, and preparing UPVC materials to required sizes and specifications
  • Assembling window and door frames, sashes, and related components
  • Operating fabrication machinery including saws, welders, and assembly equipment
  • Reading and working from technical drawings, job sheets, and production schedules
  • Fitting reinforcement components, gaskets, and hardware where required
  • Ensuring all frames are aligned, square, and manufactured to precise measurements
  • Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
  • Trimming, finishing, and preparing frames for the next stage of production
  • Maintaining production output in line with daily targets
  • Reporting machinery faults, defects, or material shortages to supervisors
  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Working effectively as part of a team to meet production deadlines

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a UPVC Window Fabricator, Plastic Fabricator, or Window Fabricator
  • Experience within a window or door manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to operate fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Good manual dexterity and practical skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Team player with a positive approach to work
