The predicted salary is between 37338 - 44962 £ per year.
The post holder will form a part of the theatre team providing Scrub and Recovery skills to patients undergoing surgery. If suitably qualified, will offer support and assistance to the anesthetist during the Anesthetic phase of the patients journey.
Responsibilities associated with:
- Assisting the anesthetist with all aspects of anesthetics
- Scrubbing in the operating theatre
- Assisting the surgeon
- Responsibility for the patient during the immediate post-operative phase of the patients recovery

You will be a Registered Nurse (NMC) / Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC) or a student nurse/trainee ODP approaching the end of your training; previous experience of working in an operating theatre is therefore essential. Due to the nature of our work, the post will involve working rostered days, weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays. Multi-skilling and rotation between specialities is also encouraged and supported within the department.
