We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Site Support Worker to join our site team at Blue Coat Church of England Academy. This role offers hands-on experience in site management within a busy, welcoming school environment. Full training and development are provided for those who want to build a long-term career in facilities management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day site maintenance, student supervision, repairs, and general upkeep
  • Support the security of the premises, opening and closing the site
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment for students, staff and visitors
  • Assist with room setups for school events and external lettings
  • Carry out basic health and safety checks as required
  • Drive the school minibus when needed (training will be provided if necessary)
  • Work flexibly as part of the site team to meet the needs of the school

  • Is reliable, proactive and willing to learn new skills
  • Has good practical and problem-solving abilities (previous experience desirable but not essential)
