The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
To provide efficient, effective and comprehensive administrative support to an assigned team of higher level medical secretaries, clinical staff and/or manager(s) in an administration environment. The role will require attention to detail, ensuring that all aspects of the Care Group duties are completed. This will entail reviewing and filing of medical correspondence into medical notes, tracking and obtaining medical notes to assist the medical secretary and/or management team, assisting with the booking of appointments (where necessary), ensuring a patient focused approach to all aspects of the role.
Responsibilities
- Use of computers, computer applications and all relevant databases as necessary and appropriate for the job.
- Compile and maintain datasets and/or other detailed information that is then handed off for analysis.
- Provide cover as assigned for other administrators on leave.
- Contribute to an efficient running of all services related to the job.
- To progress to audio transcription of medical terminology within the scope of the job as supervised and quality checked by a higher level administrator or Team Leader.
- To use electronic data systems ie Care flow to make patient appointments.
- Undertake general correspondence and letters as assigned and under the supervision of higher level administrator, clinical staff and/or managers.
- Print client data from electronic data systems, i.e. Care flow, Fusion etc. to given timescales to support clinical service delivery.
- Collate data/information from appropriate IT packages i.e. Care flow, Fusion, Excel in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Use of email in an effective and professional manner to communicate with other departments, clinical and non-clinical colleagues.
- Participate in 365 working day administrative service staffing rota to support clinical service delivery.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as requested commensurate with the grade of the post.
