Machine Operator Location: Walsall Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:00am - 15:30pm / Friday: 07:00am - 14:00pm
Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our client on a temp‑to‑perm basis. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in operating and setting machinery within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and operating machinery efficiently and safely
- Monitoring machine performance and identifying any issues
- Ensuring production targets and quality standards are met
- Carrying out basic maintenance and adjustments to equipment
- Working in line with health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience operating and setting machinery is essential
- Welding experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
