Type: Full-Time (Permanent Opportunity Following Successful Trial Period) We are recruiting on behalf of a family‑run business based in Walsall, specialising in the collection, treatment, and disposal of waste oil and water.
We operate to the highest environmental standards, ensuring full compliance with Environment Agency regulations and our licensed discharge agreement with Severn Trent Water.
The
Role: As a Class 1 ADR Vacuum Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for operating a vacuum tanker vehicle and carrying out waste oil and water collections from customer sites across the UK.
This is a day‑shift role, working Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work available as overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Class 1 vacuum tanker vehicle safely and professionally.
- Collecting waste oil and water from industrial and commercial customer sites nationwide.
- Ensuring all collections are completed in accordance with environmental and transport regulations.
- Completing all relevant paperwork and vehicle checks accurately.
- Maintaining high standards of customer service while representing the company.
- Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category C + E) licence.
- ADR Tanker Certification.
- Driver CPC Qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card. Previous experience operating a vacuum tanker vehicle (essential).
- Good understanding of driver hours and transport compliance.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
