Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising the kitchen staff in preparing and presenting food to a high standard of hygiene and safe practice.
- Allergen Management and dietary control.
- Completion of all kitchen administration, e.g., health and safety checks, allergen management.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring kitchen targets are met, e.g., stock control, food orders, quality assurance.
- Managing relationships with school staff such as teachers, business managers and head teachers.
- Managing kitchen staff: processing timesheets, absence management and probation meetings.

Requirements
- Previous experience of running a school kitchen would be advantageous.
- Ability to empower and lead a team.
