Part‑Time Personal Assistant to provide personal assistance to a woman living in the St Athan area who has a connective tissue disorder. The role involves maintaining a routine, keeping household operations running smoothly, and supporting independence.

Hours of Work: 10 hours per week minimum, with potential for increase on occasion. The successful candidate should also be willing to cover shifts when the other PA is on annual leave or sick leave.

Rate of Pay: £14.25 per hour. Mileage will be discussed during the interview.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Domestic tasks such as laundry and cleaning
  • Meal preparation and cooking
  • Shopping or running errands with or without the client as required
  • Driving the client to appointments or other commitments
  • Assistance with some personal care tasks when necessary
  • Managing organisational tasks: completing the diary, creating shopping lists, meal planning, appointment booking, etc.

Requirements and Conditions:

  • Successfully pass satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check) prior to commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.
  • Verify legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.
  • Provide a National Insurance number for wage processing.
  • Wages will be paid on a four‑weekly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
  • Employment is under an initial trial period.
