The practice prides itself on its collaborative ethos, with a dedicated team of 3/4 vets, 3 nurses, and 2 receptionists delivering compassionate, affordable, and high-quality care for dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, birds, and small mammals. An interest in orthopaedics would be especially valued, complementing the existing skill set within the team and providing scope for you to develop and lead in this area.
Facilities include a purpose-built theatre, spacious preparation room, modern imaging suite with X-ray and ultrasound, and thoughtfully designed kennels – including walk-in spaces for dogs of all sizes and separate, comfortable cat areas. With the team’s commitment to continuous improvement and patient care, this is a great environment to advance your orthopaedic and surgical expertise.
The Rota
- Full-time role: 4.5 days per week
- 1:3 Saturday mornings (9:30am–1pm)
- 1:6 weekends on call until 9pm, with TOIL
- 1 night per week on call until 11pm (usually quiet, often finishing earlier)
- Flexible working patterns available
The Benefits
