An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a dealership located in Hay-on-Wye. Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Starting salary between Β£30-40,000 per annum, pending experience. Performance-related bonus scheme of up to Β£2-4,000 per annum. Overtime, subject to availability, paid at time and a half rate.

Opportunity to work with a multi-award-winning and long-standing family-run business that is in the top 5 in the UK for customer satisfaction. Working hours from 8:15am-5:00pm Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings paid as overtime at time and a half.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
  • MOT Testing
  • Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
  • Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements:

  • A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Dedicated and committed approach.
