Due to continued expansion our client is looking for full time experienced vehicle movement trade plate drivers, on a contracted self‑employed basis. Immediate starts available for the right candidate.
As a trade plate driver you will collect and deliver new and used vehicles all over the UK in a timely and professional manner. Part of your duties will be accurately appraising the vehicle before collection, noting any existing damage through the app used by our client for their customers’ vehicles, so attention to detail is paramount.
Responsibilities- Collect and transport vehicles.
- Appraise vehicles upon pickup.
- Deliver vehicles on time.
- Smart appearance.
- Disciplined and organised.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with customers.
- Hold a full UK Licence with no more than 6 active penalty points.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
- Off‑road parking at your home address is required for carryover of the last vehicle collected.
- Demonstrate a good level of customer care and courtesy when dealing with clients.
- A knowledge of using mobile apps would be a distinctive advantage.
- Access to email to assist in your day to day workload.
This role would be suitable to most but especially those with good planning and organisational skills. This is a Monday to Friday role with some early starts and sometimes late finishes. Full office support is provided.
