The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join a well-established client based in Usk. This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified drivers looking to gain experience, as new passes are welcome. The role offers ongoing, full-time work with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period. This position involves working as part of a slow-moving convoy rather than multi-drop deliveries, making it a more straightforward driving role with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Duties will include:

  • Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle as part of a convoy
  • Following planned routes at controlled speeds
  • Maintaining safe distances and communication within the convoy
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with regulations
  • Supporting the wider team as required

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
  • New passes welcome
  • Good understanding of road safety and driver responsibilities
  • Reliable and punctual
