Join us as a Senior Costing Analyst and help turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive decision‑making across one of the largest NHS trusts in the country. In this key role, you’ll shape how we understand patient‑level activity and cost, converting rich datasets into intelligence that improves care, efficiency and value for our patients. You’ll take a lead role in enhancing our IQVIA costing system—drawing on data from our new Electronic Patient Record and General Ledger—to build accurate models, strengthen data flows and uncover trends that support better, smarter operational and financial decisions across the Trust.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, format and validate complex data inputs for the Trust’s costing system.
- Investigate and resolve general ledger anomalies with finance colleagues.
- Support quarterly and annual costing model builds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with national standards.
- Maintain and refine PLICS methodologies and allocation tables.
- Analyse patient‑level costing outputs, identify variances and benchmark results.
- Present findings to clinical and finance teams, providing training and influencing improvements.
