We are looking for a Support Worker to join a new fully funded, full‑time service commissioned by Wiltshire Council. The role is based at Trowbridge, with some assignments in Chippenham and Salisbury.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Management Team with oversight of homes, leading on support and safety.
  • Act as a role model to the young people, continually pushing for the highest standards.
  • Provide trauma‑informed support, understanding the background of each individual and championing diversity and inclusion.
  • Support haveers in practical life skills such as moving and settling into their home, safety planning, job hunting, and gaining access to training courses.
  • Help individuals obtain refugee status and assist with other statutory and social services.

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Patient, kind, resilient, and professional with a calm and caring approach.
  • Experience (or lived experience) working with young people, preferably those from care or refugee backgrounds.
  • Willingly undertake a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service enhanced check.

Position Details

  • Hours: 39.375 hours per week (8 am‑8:15 pm – 3 days on, 4 days off; then 4 days on, 3 days off in rotation)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Location: Trowbridge (with homes in Chippenham and Salisbury)
  • Pay: £27,452 full‑time equivalent
  • Closing date: 13 May 2026 (CCP reserves the right to close early)
