Are you ready to make a real difference in someone’s life? We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our Wiltshire Service based in Semington Trowbridge, helping to oversee and deliver high-quality support. You will report into the Registered Manager, splitting your time between hands-on support and leadership/administrative tasks to ensure our service runs smoothly. This is a varied and rewarding role with plenty of opportunity to make an impact.
About the people you’ll be supporting:
- You will be supporting 3 female clients, with learning disabilities and/or autism. Each person has unique needs, preferences, and routines. Some enjoy active community days out, others prefer quieter home-based activities.
Your role will be to help them live safe, happy and meaningful lives, whilst ensuring their care is consistent, person-centred and of the highest quality.
Where you’ll be working: Semington Trowbridge. This is a full-time role where your week will be split between providing direct support on shift and also completing leadership and administrative tasks.

Requirements:
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work.
- Full UK Driver’s licence
- Level 2 in Health and Social Care and willingness to work towards level 3.
Key Responsibilities:
- Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.
- Supporting activities of daily living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
- Effectively communicate using people’s chosen methods.
- Promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life.
- Supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches.
- Keeping accurate records & reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management.
- Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
