We are looking for a motivated Trainee Plumber to join our growing team, with a clear pathway into becoming a skilled Heating & Renewable Energy Engineer. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career working with boilers, hot water cylinders, and air‑source heat pumps, gaining hands‑on experience across both traditional and modern heating systems. No prior heat pump experience? No problem. We provide full training and support towards industry‑recognised certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installation, servicing, and maintenance of boilers
- Support installation of hot water cylinders (vented & unvented)
- Help install and commission air‑source heat pump systems
- Carry out pipework, radiators, and heating upgrades
- Learn system diagnostics, flushing, and fault finding
- Complete job documentation in line with MCS and industry standards
- Follow health & safety regulations at all times
- Deliver high‑quality workmanship and customer service
Training & Development
- Full hands‑on training with experienced engineers
- Exposure to boilers, cylinders, and renewable heating systems
- Support towards: Gas Safe Register pathway (for boilers)
Requirements
- Interest in plumbing, heating, or renewable energy
- Basic practical or plumbing experience (preferred but not essential)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to quality, safety, and professional growth
Visa & Career Support
While we do not directly hold a Skilled Worker sponsorship licence, we work closely with partner companies who are licensed sponsors and regularly recruit skilled engineers. For the right candidates, we can:
