Turners (Soham) Ltd is the UK’s largest privately owned transport company. We are looking to recruit LGV Class 1 Container Drivers for our Manchester depot, working nights.

Responsibilities

  • As a professional driver working for the Turners Container Division, you will be required to demonstrate skill, professionalism and excellent customer service.
  • Shifts are mainly Monday‑Friday night pattern.
  • You will also be expected to be flexible with start and finish times, comply with Tachograph & Working Time Directive regulations, and respond to occasional nights out for day drivers if needed.

Qualifications

  • Full HGV Class 1 (C E) licence (1‑year preferred)
  • Driver CPC & Tacho Card
  • 35 hours CPC qualification
  • Container experience (preferred)
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English (no test drives will take place without these documents)
  • Minimum PPE of safety boots
