We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to join our team in Trafford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), including those with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and those working below expected levels. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored one-to-one GCSE Maths and English lessons based on individual SEN learning profiles.
  • Adapt lessons to support emotional regulation and a range of learning styles.
  • Help students develop key subject knowledge, study skills, and exam confidence.
  • Establish a trusting and supportive rapport with students to create a safe learning environment.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to parents/carers or professionals when necessary.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring in Maths or English.
  • Experience working with SEN students in a one-on-one or small group setting.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).

Desirable Qualifications

  • PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience working with students with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
