Health Visiting Community Nursery Nurse – Supporting Government’s Best Start in Life Agenda. Innovative opportunity focused on school readiness in Trafford. We are seeking motivated and forward-thinking practitioners to join our Health Visiting and Family Hub team. The role is neighbourhood-based, working across Trafford to promote equitable service delivery and support the Best Start in Life agenda. Core hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective health visiting services to a defined population.
  • Undertake delegated clinical duties as laid out by the Registered Health Visitor.
  • Carry out delegated tasks in the client’s home.
  • Liaise with internal and external contacts to drive school readiness and support the Best Start in Life priorities.
  • Travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Nursery Nurse qualification or NVQ Level 3.
  • Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, ability to work independently and strong IT literacy.
