Position Overview
Senior Quality Inspector.
We're looking for a hands‑on Senior Quality Inspector to join a specialist manufacturing environment producing inflatable rescue and life‑saving equipment.
This is more than inspection.
- It's a key role ensuring products meet the highest safety, regulatory, and customer standards.

Responsibilities
- Leading inspection activities across goods‑in, in‑process, and final product release.
- Carrying out functional and pressure testing on inflatable safety equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Managing non‑conformances, including root‑cause support and corrective actions.
- Raising and closing supplier RMAs and liaising with suppliers on quality issues.
- Maintaining accurate inspection records, reports, and traceability documentation.
- Leadership responsibilities: supervising and supporting a team of Quality Inspectors, allocating workload and setting priorities, providing training, coaching, and performance oversight, acting as a first point of escalation for quality issues.
Qualifications
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Hands‑on experience with measurement tools (Verniers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
- Knowledge of root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Experience inspecting components against POs and specifications.
- Ideally, exposure to pressure or flow testing systems.
- Familiarity with Guidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG.
