Ofsted‑rated Good secondary school in Dudley is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic French & Spanish Teacher to join the Modern Foreign Languages department from September 2026 on a long‑term supply basis. The role involves teaching French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, and supporting pupils in preparing for GCSE Modern Foreign Languages.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver lessons in French and Spanish for KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to support learning outcomes.
  • Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
  • Support pupils in building confidence, fluency, and cultural awareness.

Qualifications

  • Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification) or be an ECT.
  • Have teaching experience in French and Spanish at KS3 and KS4.
