We are seeking a qualified Teacher with a passion for inclusive education to join a specialist SEND school in South Gloucester. The school provides a caring and inclusive learning environment for pupils with complex learning needs and is committed to promoting independence, communication and emotional wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- The successful SEND Teacher will support pupils with SLD and PMLD, with a large proportion of children having ASC and SLCN identified as their primary need on their EHCPs.
- The role requires a strong understanding of complex SEND needs, differentiated learning approaches and the ability to create a positive and structured classroom environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- QTS
- Experience working with pupils with SLD, PMLD, ASC and SLCN
- Strong understanding of complex SEND needs and EHCPs
- Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
