Responsibilities
- Support pupils with SLD, PMLD, ASC, and SLCN, many with ASC and SLCN as primary needs on their EHCPs.
- Assist with learning, communication, and sensory needs within the classroom.
- Help pupils engage positively with their education.
- Work collaboratively with staff to ensure all pupils reach their full potential in a safe and engaging setting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with children or young people with SLD, PMLD, ASC, and SLCN.
- Strong understanding of complex SEND needs and EHCPs.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
- Ability to support communication and sensory regulation strategies.
- Experience within a school or SEND provision.
