About the Role:
We are looking for a committed and compassionate Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to join our team, supporting pupils with a high level of needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who require additional support to thrive in their learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEND.
- Deliver a high standard of care and support for pupils with communication difficulties.
- Work under the direction of the SENDCO to implement individualised support strategies.
- Support pupils with Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Liaise with teaching staff to help pupils access the curriculum, adapting materials and approaches to suit individual learning needs.
- Promote inclusion and encourage independence in learning and social development.
A caring, patient, and flexible approach to supporting children is essential, along with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable:
- Experience working with EHCPs and implementing personalised learning plans.
- Knowledge of strategies to support pupils with SEND needs.
