Experienced Support Worker
Location: Tewkesbury
Pay rate starts at: £12.45 per hour plus enhancements
Typical shifts are: 8:00am - 15:00 and 15:00 - 22:00. Sundays and nights may be required to cover emergencies, annual leave, etc.
Responsibilities
Join Voyage Care and feel valued. As a support worker you will be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people in our ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) service. Theoc House in Tewkesbury is a welcoming and friendly environment.
You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support going shopping, the next you could be unwinding with them playing memory games and participating in activities.
This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
