Position Summary

We are currently looking for an exceptional Reception Host to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing room revenues in line with company standards, providing efficient and courteous service to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Familiarize yourself with daily operations, including arrivals, departures, and special requests.
  • Handle guests promptly upon arrival and departure according to company check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Understand guests’ requirements and provide personalized service.
  • Ensure all cash, charge, float, and till procedures are carried out in accordance with company policy.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all hotel services, facilities, and local area.
  • Assist the team by attending daily meetings and staying up to date with hotel information.
  • Maximize sales through upselling, using incentives and promotions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and booking requests promptly and courteously.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Operate the telephone system in line with operating and company standards.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in a hotel or customer‑related role.
  • Outstanding communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to follow standards.
  • Proficiency in using phone and computer systems.
