Aerospace Sector Programme Manager – Gloucestershire (Permanent)
We are looking for a Programme Manager to join a buoyant employer in the Gloucestershire area. In this non-technical role you will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and with a customer-centric focus for major customers in the aerospace sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead programmes and the associated P&L assigned to them.
- Internal and external stakeholder management.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver projects successfully.
- Manage product changes required for obsolescence resolution, reliability improvement, cost reduction or in response to customer request.
- Continuous improvement of assigned business processes.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Run project reviews, ensuring robust project, financial and commercial governance.
- Deliver bid and proposals for new programmes.
- Occasional travel internationally to customer sites (up to 10%).
Qualifications
- Educated to Degree level in a relevant subject.
- Proven experience working in a matrixed manufacturing organisation.
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Able to manage project scope, resources, cost, schedule and risk.
- Problem solving capability.
