Temporary Long Wheel Base Van Driver - 2 Week Assignment
Location: Tewkesbury
Start Date: 06/07/2026
Duration: 2 Weeks
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Long Wheel Base (LWB) Van Driver to join our client based in Tewkesbury for a 2-week temporary assignment, starting 6th July 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for short-term work.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Long Wheel Base van for deliveries and collections.
- Load, unload, and secure goods appropriately.
- Complete delivery schedules and paperwork accurately.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed efficiently and on time.
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery and collection points.
- Comply with all road traffic regulations and company health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Previous experience driving a Long Wheel Base van is preferred.
- Good geographical knowledge of Tewkesbury and surrounding areas.
- Ability to undertake manual handling duties when required.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
