Fire Door Carpenter / Joiner

Our client is looking for an experienced Fire Door Carpenter / Joiner to join their planned works team, carrying out fire door installations and remedial works within social housing properties.

  • Location: Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester, Evesham & surrounding areas
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 39 hours per week
  • Pay: Competitive, weekly paid

This is a long-term, stable opportunity with ongoing work, Monday-Friday hours and a company van and fuel card provided.

The role

  • Install fire doors and complete remedial works
  • Work within occupied social housing properties
  • Complete jobs using handheld devices/job tickets
  • Work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Maintain high health & safety standards

You’ll need

  • Carpentry/joinery qualification Level 2+ preferred
  • Fire door experience essential
  • FIRAS qualification desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Social housing/tenant-facing experience desirable
  • Willingness to complete a fire door installation skills test
  • Ability to pass a DBS check
