We are currently looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator for one of our clients based in the Halesfield area.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Breaks: Paid breaks
Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating metal components to specification, working from technical drawings, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate metal components using mild steel, stainless steel, or aluminium
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts using hand tools and machinery
- Carry out welding; MIG welding experience would be beneficial
- Use grinders, drills, saws, and fabrication equipment safely
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow all health & safety procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a metal fabricator
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Experience working with various metals
- Welding experience preferred; MIG welding advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
