Working closely with entrepreneurial and owner‑managed businesses, typically with turnovers ranging from £0.5m to £10m. The team work collaboratively and deliver high‑quality support and trusted advice to clients across the board. They are now seeking a talented, ambitious and commercially minded individual to join the team in a senior leadership role, with a clear pathway to director level. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the future leadership of the business, with the potential to acquire equity and participate in future growth through growth shares.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering both advisory and compliance services to a high standard.
- Provide a broad and varied service spanning accounts, tax and strategic client support.
- Lead the delivery of one‑off projects and support clients on bespoke or more complex assignments.
- Support the leadership team, with involvement in strategic decision‑making.
- Mentor, develop and support other team members to build capability across the firm.
- Contribute to business development and help strengthen existing and new client relationships.
- Help the firm identify, develop and deliver new opportunities and revenue streams.
Qualifications
- ACCA or ACA qualified, with a minimum of five years’ post‑qualified experience.
- Strong background in general practice with broad experience of accounts, tax and client advisory work.
- Confident in working with established and entrepreneurial clients, building trusted relationships.
- Adaptable, proactive and comfortable responding to new challenges and opportunities.
- Capable of dealing confidently with complex technical and commercial matters.
- Genuine growth mindset, enthusiasm for continuous improvement and development.
- Comfortable working within a close‑knit team environment while demonstrating leadership and initiative.
