Solo Service Group are recruiting a cleaning supervisor to join our team at WMP Telford, Malinsgate, TF3 4HW.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday Start at 4 hours per day; after a trial period will increase to 7 hours per day Total of 15 hours a week (6:00 – 9:00)
Salary: £12.71 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins, and cleaning cells.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times.
- Maintain Health and Safety standards.
- Keep equipment cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
- Respond promptly and courteously to customer requests.
- Supervise and support the cleaning team, providing guidance and training as required.
Requirements:
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative while being part of a team.
- Reliability, responsibility and a flexible approach to work.
- Cleaning experience preferred; full training provided if necessary.
- Enhanced Police Vetting required for the role (mandatory).
- A driving licence is an advantage; local residence is preferred.
