Solo Service Group are recruiting a cleaning supervisor to join our team at WMP Telford, Malinsgate, TF3 4HW.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday Start at 4 hours per day; after a trial period will increase to 7 hours per day Total of 15 hours a week (6:00 – 9:00)

Salary: £12.71 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins, and cleaning cells.
  • Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times.
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards.
  • Keep equipment cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to customer requests.
  • Supervise and support the cleaning team, providing guidance and training as required.

Requirements:

  • Good attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative while being part of a team.
  • Reliability, responsibility and a flexible approach to work.
  • Cleaning experience preferred; full training provided if necessary.
  • Enhanced Police Vetting required for the role (mandatory).
  • A driving licence is an advantage; local residence is preferred.
