IPS Group is working with a global insurance company to recruit for its expanding Cyber and Technology team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing portfolio, focusing on Cyber risks.
You will be underwriting Cyber and Tech business, supporting both the retention of existing clients and the generation of new opportunities. The portfolio is expanding quickly, offering exposure to a range of risks from volume-driven facility business through to more complex cases as your experience develops. This role combines technical underwriting, relationship management, and business development. You will analyse risks using financial data, claims history, and company information within established underwriting guidelines, while contributing to profitable portfolio growth. You will also work closely with wider Financial Lines and Cyber teams, with ongoing training and development to build your technical knowledge and stay up to date with market trends and claims insights.

Who this role is perfect for
You will likely have around 4 years of insurance experience, ideally with exposure to Cyber, Tech, or Financial Lines, from either an underwriting or broking background. Experience in a facility or volume-driven environment would be beneficial, alongside a strong interest in developing within the Cyber market.
