Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Residential Team Leader who is ready to make a positive impact at Leadon Bank, situated in Ledbury. The purpose-built service provides residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty, and for older people living with dementia.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice.
  • Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures.
  • Report changes in residents' needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working with older people in residential care.
  • You will have completed or be working towards your NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social care (or equivalent).
  • You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people.
  • Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.
