ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for Primary school Teaching Assistants in Pembrokeshire. The role is fully flexible depending on the candidate’s needs. This position starts immediately and is a Supply role that may lead to a long‑term contract. The position is open to both new and experienced teaching assistants, and depending on performance the school may look at extending the contract.

CONTRACT DETAILS

  • Location – Pembrokeshire
  • Position – Supply Teaching Assistant
  • Type of work – General Cover
  • Contract or position start date – ASAP
  • Duration – Long / Part term
  • Full time / part time
  • Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate GBP 89.76 per day
  • Hours – Normal school hours (8:30 am – 3:00 pm, for example)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can provide this training free of charge)

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child‑barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child‑related references covering the last 2 years
