We are looking for a room leader who is humble, resilient and enthusiastic to join our 2‑year‑old provision staff team.
You will:
- Have a Level 3 qualification in teaching assistance or equivalent
- Have experience of working within the Early Years Foundation Stage, specifically with children aged two years old
- Be able to plan and deliver appropriate activities to meet the needs of the children in the two‑year‑old room
- Have experience of completing the ‘Progress Check’ for two‑year‑olds and other relevant assessments of development towards milestones
- Have experience of liaising with a range of professionals (e.g. Health Visitors)
- Be passionate about working with pupils in the early years
- Believe that education is a vocation and be passionate about education in an urban setting
- Believe strongly that all pupils regardless of their background are capable of reaching their full potential
- Be excited about learning and achievement across a broad primary curriculum
- Embrace high expectations of learning and behaviour
- Be committed to engaging pupils with teaching which produces accelerated pupil progress
- Possess an unswerving belief in reflection, collaboration, teamwork and feedback
- Demonstrate outstanding communication and people skills
