The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (TA) for regular, weekly work. The successful candidate will need to be flexible, as roles can vary from working in the nursery to KS2, or within the school’s Special Resource Base (SRB). You will be able to work across all phases of the school and use your own initiative. This is a school where culture comes first and you can expect a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist across different key stages from nursery to KS2, including work within the SRB.
- Independently manage classroom situations with initiative.
- Support learners with additional learning needs on a one-to-one basis.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification or 6 months experience with children in an educational establishment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Experience in working one-to-one with learners who have additional learning needs.
