We’re looking for an experienced Team Leader with proven management experience to join Field Studies Council Nettlecombe Court.
In this senior role, you’ll manage and mentor a passionate education team, oversee curriculum delivery, and contribute to the strategic management of the centre alongside the Centre Manager.

You will:
Lead and manage the education team, providing guidance, mentoring, performance management, and professional development.
Develop, plan, and oversee the delivery of high-quality curriculum-linked learning experiences that increase students’ understanding of nature and the environment.
Support the Centre Manager in running the day-to-day operations of the centre and contribute to strategic planning.
Participate in some hands-on teaching in the field, working with students of all ages on a variety of science and geography programmes.
Be part of our duty rota which will involve staying on site on some evenings and overnight to deal with customer issues and respond to emergencies.
As a key member of the senior on-call team you will also provide support to other duty staff.

Who we’re looking for
We are seeking an experienced leader with a proven track record of managing and developing teams, with: Degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline At least 5 years relevant work experience, with the confidence to produce and prepare teaching resources, activities and lesson plans that meet curricular requirements
