The predicted salary is between 24000 - 29000 £ per year.
Attendance Officer – 32 hours & 30 minutes per week (8:15am – 3:15pm, Monday to Friday, includes an unpaid 30‑minute lunch break). 38 weeks and 3 days per year (term time + 3 of the 6 school INSET days). Grade 13, NJC points 6‑11.
Responsibilities
- Support students in achieving their full academic potential by promoting excellent attendance.
- Serve as a visible, proactive presence in the Pastoral Hub and throughout the school.
- Engage directly with students, parents and staff to drive positive change and celebrate attendance achievements.
- Provide proactive communication and support to ensure students unlock their full potential.
Qualifications and Experience
- We welcome candidates with transferable skills from other industries or backgrounds.
- Desired strengths include:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Proven knowledge and use of Microsoft packages.
- Experience working in a busy office or a school environment (preferred but not mandatory).
