We are seeking an outstanding, committed and resilient SEMH Teacher who is passionate about supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs, demonstrates the ability to work with sensitivity and to ensure every student can thrive and reach their full potential.

About the School: Salford school is a specialist Social, Emotional and Mental Health School for children aged 11-16 in Salford. Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds, but all have an EHCP with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) as their primary area of need. Many will also have other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and other SEND.
  • Plan and deliver a high-quality curriculum leading to excellent outcomes for all students.
  • Form positive relationships with students to engage them.
  • Collaborate with a highly experienced and skilled staff team.

Qualifications and Training:

  • Appropriate qualifications and training for the role.
  • Experience or interest in SEMH provision.
