Applicants are invited to apply for a Specialty Doctor in Urgent Treatment Centre post. The post will be Urgent Treatment clinical care allowing an opportunity for doctors wanting to gain experience and responsibility in not just managing patients but managing a busy department (at Registrar level). Responsibilities
- Take a history and examine a patient
- Identify and synthesize problems
- Prescribe safely
- Keep an accurate and relevant medical record (electronic notes)
- Manage time and clinical priorities effectively
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives and colleagues
- Use evidence, guidelines and audit to benefit patient care
