We are recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our client’s thriving main dealership in Swindon. As Sales Manager, you will lead a motivated sales team and play a key role in shaping the performance and success of the dealership’s new and used vehicle operations. - Lead and oversee a busy sales department—including Sales Executives, the Business Manager, and administrative team members—reporting directly to the General Manager.
- Manage the team to deliver a seamless sales process while maintaining close customer engagement throughout the vehicle purchase journey.
- Ensure adherence to dealership and manufacturer standards, including compliance with FCA and financial regulations.
- Set and exceed targets for unit sales, finance penetration, and additional aftermarket products.
- Coach, develop, and mentor the sales team, using structured training and performance management to boost individual and team effectiveness.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Sales Manager or General Sales Manager within a successful car dealership environment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Self‑motivated, driven, and passionate about leadership and team success in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
