Duties as Primary School Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the primary curriculum
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
- Assess and record pupil progress where required
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider staff teams
- Contribute positively to wider school life during longer-term placements
Ideal Primary School Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confident teaching across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (experience in more than one phase is beneficial)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Adaptable across different schools and year groups
- Positive, organised, and committed to high-quality teaching
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
